Sleeping Beauty Fairy Tale Activity: Read Sequence cut paste order make a book

(0)
Can you read the captions, cut out the pictures and put them back in the right order? A lovely reading activity based on the story of Sleeping Beauty for children to practise their reading, memory and sequencing skills. Includes one printable sheet for a child’s personal use. They can read, cut, colour and stick these 8 pictures in the correct order. Blank sequencing page -Also includes a larger set of the pictures for teaching purposes which can be laminated and used to model the activity or simply used as posters. (*“How to make a book video” is in the video preview to show children how to make a paper book for their sequencing instead of using the blank sequencing page) If you need sequencing and writing activities please see my store for the full range of downloads available. *Please note that I have arranged the pictures in order already. This is mainly to help teachers. I usually ask the children to cut them out and then give them a little shuffle before they start sequencing to challenge themselves! *On another note, the captions are numbered to help children to order the sentences after they have read them. If you want to add extra challenge, black out the numbers before photocopying for the class so that they have to use the reading cues to sequence the captions!
